Over the last few years some of our guests have asked why we chose to refer to our obvious bungalows as cottages. Finally here, for those who bother to read our rambling home page, I have decided to clarify what makes our bungalows cottages. While the structures are actually boutique little bungalows, each set differently into a garden and view area all its own. The bungalows are built into the shape of the headland of Suara Ombak, assigning to each a defining cottage-like environment that surrounds it. The effect is a cottage setting that offers our guests the visuals of Bali as it was created, while they view the coastline of Bingin and Dreamland beaches from a uniquely designed bungalow. Each bungalow is tastefully constructed of timber and bamboo to further the tropical interface with green living style. You’ll find yourself staying in a hut in paradise with those few telltale luxuries that you’d be glad to have anywhere; a quality mattress, a nice bathroom with hot water, and a good fan. The things you would surely take to the jungle with you if you had the baggage allowance. That coupled with the indoor-outdoor bathrooms and view decks transform the simple bungalow, which you can find all over Bali, into a garden cottage at Suara Ombak. The panoramic views of beach, surf and sunsets over the red blooms of hibiscus hedges replace the need for stainless railings and television in the cottages. Add to this ambiance a cacophony of bird calls, sounds of sea and the occasional chortle from the beach, and peace is an easy thing. And our staff is just a call away to bring you refreshments and an assortment of some of the best food you’ll come across in your all travels (no kidding, the cook is famous!). In the ever changing world that Bali has become, we pride ourselves in offering the essential Bali experience with years behind us of blending East with West. Oh, and refining the art of relaxation.
